The IBM Thinkpad 220, 500 (international release) 300 and 330 didn't have a trackpoint. I realize you understand neither the 300 nor the 330 are really Thinkpads, but the 220 released in Japan and the 500 released in the West were definitely Thinkpads without Trackpoints and certainly not notes...
